| Story: | We were visiting my niece in Hammond. Celebrating Naw-Ruz, I believe. We stayed in one of the local hotels and went for coffee every morning in this newly renovated part of town. I took a walk behind some of the buildings. The town is in the process of being renovated. There are a lot of neglected and crashing buildings lying around waiting their turn in the rebirth process. I have not been there since, so have no idea what condition this building is in. One of these days. |
